About Us

We offer a professional and specialist 1940s DJ service for private parties, corporate functions and public events and can tailor our packages to suit your requirements. We also have experience in providing a range of entertainment packages for budgets large and small.

Some of our clients have included:
Vintage Event Dj Service

We cater for both Private and Corporate Functions

Our music library is very extensive with tracks from the 1920s to the 1980s. We can keep the music genre specific for a 1940s theme or, for a more generic vintage theme, we can mix the decades to your specifications. However, it should be noted that we do not hold any music in our library past 1989, with the exception of current artists who recreate the music of the past.

Shaun Moncaster, our DJ, has over 40 years experience as a mobile DJ in all music genres, but his first love is in vintage music and now specialises in this area. Shaun is also the Manager of The UK 1940s Radio Station and is experienced at putting together the right playlist to help your party go with a swing.

Testimonials

Don't just let us tell you about our services, let our clients say!

I just wanted to express my thanks for coming along and giving us your time and expertise this weekend. The Home Guard Returns went down really well with our visitors and I had several appreciative comments from them, old and young. Plus we got some good TV coverage, which can't be bad. I think it is a really important and interesting part of our history, not least because it sits so oddly with people’s perceptions of what the house is about, so a massive thank you for bringing that to life for everyone. I know you had a really traumatic journey here and so even more respect to you that you bothered to come at all! I am so glad you did though as you really pulled the whole thing together, making it go with much more of a swing (no pun intended!)
Karina, Visitor Experience & Marketing Manager, Osterley Park & House, The National Trust

I hope you have both managed to travel safely.I just wanted to send you a quick email to thank you both for a fantastic show on Friday night. We had a brilliant night and we were delighted by your company's contribution to the evening, such a professional presentation that made the whole night go smoothly. It has been commented on by many people how good your radio show was. As I said on the night I will pass your details onto people with regard to conference events etc.
Thanks again
Philip Mabon, Creative Manager, Floramedia UK

What can I say?! A total pleasure to work with you and all your team - all hugely professional, helpful and talented.
Thank you so much for all you did to make the Royal British Legion's 65 VE Day celebrations in central London a success, and I very much hope we shall work together again in the future. with best wishes from all at the Legion

Teresa Greener, Head of Events, The Royal British Legion

Thank you for your email, and thank you ever so much for your involvement at the VE Day event. The music sounded great and really added to the event! I will be listening tomorrow night and I shall certainly be in contact again next year.
Anna Saczek, Education Coordinator, Royal Gunpowder Mills

Thank you for providing such a wonderful service at my 40th party last weekend. The ‘jive disco’ was just brilliant and you were both so friendly and helpful ...The set up you have was just perfect and really fitted into our venue. The music was brilliant...I am just so glad I did a Google search and found you as you really made the night special – it was just perfect.
